What are tips for teaching your child to feed them self with utensils?

From holding utensils to actually using them to get food in your mouth, there can be a lot for a young child to learn. What can you do to start teaching your child to use utensils?

i hold his hand with the spoon in his hand ( my hand over his) and show him the action of scooping the food and putting it into his mouth

Give them child size utensils to use from age 1 on and model for them how to use them. Also hand over hand is good.

Show the child how you use the tool and encourage them to do the same.
