My favorite shoes for every day mom duty are Odell ballet flats by Mossimo from Target. They are super comfy, wear really well and come in fun colors and prints. They have a nice rough black color but also a leopard print, which I wear as a neutral, and some fun sparkly ones as well. It is the perfect accessory for the jeans and t uniform I so often find myself in. And they don't break the bank. When you are feeling like you need a new pair, color, quick-pick-me-up, they can always be found online and ship out fast.
TOMS, of course! Super comfy + easy & quick. They slip on & no need to even mess with socks. Plus when you buy a pair of shoes for yourself the company donates a pair of shoes to a child in need, so it's really a no brainer. :)

BLACK Tennis Shoes, sneakers, flats, slip ons whatever you want to call them. You can run if you need to. Play etc and not hurt your back. :) But the black easily blends with jeans, yoga pants, even black dress pants that have flare at the bottom. We do not get much snow so the right pair can work even in the winter.
This is a great question and I'm actually curious to see everyones's answers! For me in the playground during the spring I'm usually in a ballet flat of any kind. Toms are great too!

During winter, it's gotta be my Clarks desert boots. They're stylish, comfy, versatile, and classic. Plus, they can traverse any kind of terrain in any kind of weather. Or, at least, I can walk across the bark at the playground and to my mailbox without care, so...
During summertime, I go ballet flats all the way. Totally.

My absolute favorite shoe is for moms on the go is the Sam Edelman Gigi sandal...It's flat...It's comfortable...but it's still incredibly chic! Oh, and it comes in a fabulous array of colors and prints!
