The favorite casserole at my house is the Cheesy Lasagna. It is super easy and very tasty. I guess a better description of it though is mac and cheese lasagna. Either way it is definitely a favorite.

My family loves mac and cheese. I always steam cauliflower for a few minutes and add it to the mac and cheese before pouring the mixture into a baking dish and topping with breadcrumbs. It's a great way to get your family to eat more cruciferous vegetables.
Try my "Get your Greens!" Veggie and Goat Cheese Lasagna! It's gotten rave reviews from friends who make it over and over. Purchased pesto makes it a snap and goat cheese makes the filling extra flavorful.

A favorite casserole of mine is Italian Pot Pie. There are nights when I need a quicky (behave!) and this dish really hits the spot.

Lasagna! It just can't be beat. I usually make mine with beef, spinach and cottage cheese and plenty of mushrooms in the tomato sauce. I also add some nutmeg and cinnamon, it justs rounds out the flavour beautifully.
Macaroni and cheese. Not the boxed stuff, but an honest-to-goodness old-fashioned baked in the oven macaroni and cheese.

I am right there with you. I prefer homemade mac and cheese to the box stuff, but I do use it in my cheesy lasagna. I haven't been able to convince my son to let me try it with my homemade mac and cheese.

My favourite casserole is a pot-pie. It's family friendly, yet also sophisticated enough for entertaining. It can be made in advance, and with leftovers, and although chicken is the most popular variety of pot pie, I've made it with pork and turkey to successful results.

I totally agree about pot-pie, and it's so funny because people think you slaved away on it;)That's usually what I make the day after Thanksgiving with the turkey leftovers.

Hands down, our family favorite is tater tot casserole. It's basically a meatloaf pressed into an 8x8 pan, covered with your favorite cream of ______ soup straight from the can, and topped with tater tots. Our kids request this comfort food several times per month!

Lasagna replacement therapy: my favorite, EASY casserole to make is 4 layers: polenta on the bottom (you can buy it pre-made in a tube, just crumble and mix with Parmesan), then a layer of red sauce (again: buy or make your own) then a layer of cooked, crumbled Italian sausage and finally topped with mozzarella. Layer, bake: done. Happy family. Freezes well too!

Mexican Lasagna Stack-Up in the crock pot!!!! So easy, full of veggies and healthy protein. Takes just minutes to throw into the crockpot and can be done in 1-2 hours on high setting. Love love love this one!

I love casseroles! Some of my families favorites are Sausage Casserole (http://kim-thislittlelifeofmine.blogspot.com/2010/10/sausage-casserole-mobetta-style.html); an EGG FREE French Toast Casserole (my son is allergic to eggs) (http://kim-thislittlelifeofmine.blogspot.com/2011/01/egg-free-french-toast-casserole.html); and most chicken casseroles (chicken & rice; chicken with dressing)!
We're big fans of chicken divan. This is a layered casserole which can often be made with leftovers from other meals if I'm thinking ahead or in a rush. Layer rice, diced chicken and steamed broccoli florets in a 9x13 inch pan. Combine 1 can cream of chicken soup (I use the low sodium variety), 1/2 cup sour cream, 1/2 cup lite mayo, 1 cup shredded cheese of choice and about a cup of milk. You may have to eyeball the milk a little depending on how thick your starting soup is. Spread over the first mixture and bake at 375 for about 30 minutes until gooey and bubbly. Yum!
