Mine is my purple maxi dress from Long Tall Sally and my Michael Kors gold sandals. Being six feet tall has its clothing limitations but this dress is long and easy to wear. Plus it highlights all my great features and hides the parts that have given birth to four children. The sandals are gold and go with everything! Together they make the perfect summer outfit.

I can't leave for the beach without my LLBean Tote. It's perfectly large enough for towels, sunscreen, snacks, and a change of clothes. Whatever you need for your beach day fun can definitely fit in this tote. And it comes it a ton of great colors! Can't beat it!

I am an observant Orthodox Jewess, which means a lot of modesty rules, even when going to the pool. If I'm swimming in a women only environment, I can wear any bathing suit. However, my husband and I enjoy taking the kids to the pool together, which is why I love Hydrochic modest swimwear. http://hydrochic.com/
I have no relationship with their company other than I enjoy the product and recommend it to any mom looking for relatively modest swimwear, Jewish or not.

That's an easy one - obviously the only suitable swimsuit for those of us older, oft-pregnant moms whose legs are adorned with varicose veins is the newly popular burquini. Available online in a variety of colors...
I am loving a thin, flowy maxi skirt over a full piece these days. A fun fedora finishes the look! See
I bought this Hemp Hat by Tilley last year to take on vacation and found myself wearing it all the time even while home. It's comfortable on, stylish and it provides great sun coverage {which a fair girl like myself really needs!}.

I was having a conversation with some friends saying what is the appropriate bathing suit to wear now that we have kids. Especially if you are going to a family BBQ or even swim class. I found this great one by DVF. Here's the link!
A lesson learned early in mommyhood: never leave the house without mascara! (ok I do it more often than I'd like, but I feel like a much more normal person with a coat of that black gold on my lashes;)). For by the beach I love Tarte's lights, camera, splashes waterproof mascara. It's chemical free (formulated sans, mineral oil, parabens, sodium lauryl sulfate, synthetic fragrance, and is cruelty free! It is green (eco-friendly) packaging. And all natural. Mostly it looks fab and doesn't drip or sweat off.
I'm a huge fan of most of the Tarte products! I've also linked a post to other beach necessities from last summer's memorial day:)
I love my Beachside Cover-Up in Black from Guria Beachwear! It's so sexy and stylish, yet totally covers everything so you're not looking too risque in front of the kids!
