Definitely these cold sesame noodles! They're simple to make, they can sit out for a while, and they're delicious!

I love veggies and usually bring a broccoli salad. It's quick to put together beforehand, and doesn't wilt like other salads might.

I'm a total sweets girl, and I go for what I know. You can never go wrong with Rice Krispy Treats. They take everyone back to that nostalgic, playful childhood place and are super quick and easy to prepare. It's literally three ingredients and they are ready in less than 10 mins. They hold up very well under hot or cold conditions, and at super cheap to prepare.

Having a child with food allergies always poses a potential problem when it comes to potlucks and parties. I like to bring a platter of fresh organic fruit, as it is something my family loves, and it is safe for my son to eat. We never know what is going to be available, but fruit is a delicious and healthy treat that everyone loves!

I'm terrible at potlucks b/c I'm always thinking, "if I make this what else will there be to go with it?" or "what if someone already made this?" so instead of a dish, I will go with dessert if that's an option. Cookies, brownies, but usually red velvet cake.

Crustless spinach quiche is my biggest crowd-pleaser. It's a great dish to bring for brunch or lunch. It's delicious enough for a special occasion like a bridal or baby shower. My friends all love this so much that they now make it (they served it as my baby shower!). The recipe is so versatile - you can vary the veggies and cheese and add chicken sausage for a totally different flavor. It's cheesy and comforting yet still healthy.

Pasta is the way to go at potluck - young and old all love pasta! My favourite (and a little different) pasta has a sauce of red pepper and salami. Choose the salami to match your potluck crowd - spicy for the adults, or mild (or use ham instead) for kids or less adventurous eaters.

I would definitely have to say that my go-to potluck recipe would be my Crock Pot Wimpy Chili. It makes enough to feed a small army and is mild enough that everyone can enjoy it. I typically make a batch to bring to family functions, cookouts and special events. This is SO easy to make and really is a crowd pleaser.

So simple, no recipe needed! Fresh seasonal fruit salad, marinaded in pineapple juice tossed with chopped dry roasted almonds and topped with finely chopped basil and mint. (I'm a big fan of herbs with fruit. It may sound weird, but try it!)

BREAD! Herbed, Cheese, Garlic... just add whatever you want into Artisan Bread in 5 Minutes a Day’s basic dough. It is so easy and I make it way too often. I bring it to potlucks, share the recipe with friends and now too many folks are plum addicted. Four ingredients, stir, and have fresh bread anytime for two weeks. I use whole wheat so it is not fully eviiiiiil. I posted the recipe and pictures here: http://liveyourloveoutloud.blogspot.com/2013/04/tiny-red-kitchen-artisan-bread-in-5_24.html

I enjoy making a sausage and potato frittata. It can be served hot or warm tastes just as good. Great to serve with mixed greens and easy to make and transport all in one pan.

My favorite potluck recipe is always Tortilla chips and salsa. It's so easy to prepare and it can be made ahead as well. I have made this for a couple of get togethers and it is always a big hit

During warm months, I'm always making my Firecracker Coleslaw. It's very low in fat and a huge hit wherever I go.
