When should you worry about a child's fever?

When your child has a fever, how can you tell if it is time to take them to the doctor, or if they just need some rest at home?

As a rule of thumb anything over 101 usually means infection.

my seven month olds doctor said not to worry about a fever unless it gets above 101 you can give them childrens Tylenol every four hours to keep the fever down......i hope this helps....
