My youngest is currently obsessed with a zebra-print sun dress and wears it EVERYWHERE!!!! She puts it on over her clothes, and every time I manage to coax her out of it, I turn around 10 minutes later to find her back in it again! She wears it wet, straight from the washing machine, inside out, and even puts it on over her pyjamas and sleeps in it.

Rio is obsessed with balls, he has a toybox full of other things, and we have spent no end of money but nope..ball crazy. As he's 10month and only knows a handful of words its all he constantly says too, even in his sleep!! My neice was once so in love with an outfit she refused to take it off for bed, and wore it again the next day, before giving in and letting her mum wash it.

My daughter has gotten in the Winx girls. It drives me sort of nuts but it makes my son INSANE.

My daughter is in LOVE with mustaches! Socks, hats, sunglasses, mustache tattoos on her finger. I don't get it, but Claire's is making out like a bandit with all of this stuff for sale!

My daughter has a BILLION and one stuff animals that she insists on sleeping with. I don't care of it and I don't like that I have to keep up with everyone but it's not worth the battle. When I was a nanny, it bothered me that the boy I cared for did this. I use to get so annoyed when I made his bed, so I tried to control how many he slept with at nap time so hopefully it would transfer to night time and I wouldn't have to worry about them the next day. Next worked but now that I have my own, I have found it isn't worth it to fight over it.

My boys' current obsession is Skylanders. The game itself isn't so bad, but the fact that they want to spend all their money collecting every last character is annoying. I hate that they are wasting their money on such things!

Look at it like this..... t could be candy, pop or even drugs. At least its plastic and makes them happy. At least thats what I tell myself every time mine gets a new one. 42 and counting!
My 14-month-old daughter is totally into books! It's the first thing she grabs when she wants to "play". I'm such a proud mom! The drives me crazy part is actually reversed. I think I possibly drive her crazy when reading to her due to my goofiness. For example, in one particular picture book "What Does Baby See?", I swear it's a Twitter, not a bird! :)

My son, who turned 6, has this new obsession with everything that has a Nike swoosh all of a sudden. Everything with a swoosh is cool.

Yep - my toddler is obsessed with the cookie monster at the moment. We have a few in all different sizes and one is usually with us wherever we go. We also have to feed it and hug it on request! Kind of our own fault though I think as we introduced him to Sesame Street!

Calliou. My toddler is obsessed with him. However, I attribute her recently learned behaviors of crossing her arms when she's upset ("humph") and throwing herself on the floor to his poor attitude and behavior on the show. He never receives correction, just coddling. Argg. Needless to say, she's no longer allowed to watch Calliou!

My 2-yr-old daughter is obsessed with a little green bouncy ball. She takes it to bed with her and plays with it in the tub. And if I don't have it with me when I pick her up at school, all hell breaks loose!
I'd love to get a photo of her with it, but it really is just a teeny bouncy ball you'd get at a grocery store gumball machine. If I'd known that's what her little heart really desired, I could have saved a lot of money at Christmastime...

My son loves to stuff "Baba" (his favorite stuffed animal) into his shirt , as a "baby" in his belly like his Auntie Mimi who is pregnant!

I'm still trying to figure out if that is him starting to have a style or peer pressure. I don't want to feed into peer pressure.

The books they choose from the library put me to sleep! Like the history of railways in Britain... What's wrong with kids' books?
