I have 2 children bella 9 & logan 5, logan has a rare chromo called 2p16.3 deletion which involves all type of brain development issues, im a gay mum & love being a mum to my beautiful children, being a carer can be challenging at times but my son has a pure love that makes it all worth while...we just move to melbourne to be around family & loving it......

Hi we are Amy and Linda. We are foster parents who adopted our 5 year old twins (Jake & Susie). We are also fostering their 1/2 brother and another little girl (5 months and 7 months respectively). Would love to talk to other moms/foster parents for playdates, etc.

Hi,my name is Zaidy. I'm bi and engaged to a man. He was my first and the father of my child. I've always loved him even though I now know I could have also loved a woman. Anyways, I chose this community because I love my lesbian friends and I would love to make more. Besides, there's something about lesbians and bisexuals that is very welcoming. Hi- I'm Candy. I was married for 7 years, then spent 17 years bringing up my child in a relationship with another woman so I understand the difficulties of both step-parenting and same-sex parenting all too well.

I wanted to offer you guys a resource on my childcare blog (I am also a writer and a qualified teacher and carer). I've just put up a blog post about prejudice in preschoolers which contains 2 stories suitable for reading to young children (say 5 to 8 years), both relating to alternate families- one transsexual, one gay. My name is Amanda i have a 15 month old son, and i'm due 4/23 with another boy. My husband and I have been married for 18 mnths and are currently seperate. I think if we were honest we really did marry because of the pregnancy, because it all just happened so fast!!
So i'm back at home with my mom now and i'm much happier. My son is my whole world and i'm very excited for the new addition :)
