My eleven month is allergic to milk and had the same symptoms when I fed him a jar of beef from Beech Nut. There were no other ingredients besides beef and water (I even called the company to make sure.) So they gave us a bunch of coupons and I fed him things I know he's not allergic to, but he still got diarrhea. Does anyone else have a problem with Beech Nut alone?

Try Heinz or another brand without the preservatives or just make your own and freeze in ice cube trays.

I have had other parents tell me about that. Some kids just can't tolerate any kind of preservatives. I ended up making my own baby food. it's actually pretty easy and it helped my daughter tremedously.

I gave up on premade baby foods. When I started just trying to make stuff for me and then put it through the blender for my daughter, we both became much happier. Of course I had to make everything without wheat, but that was easier than colic for 9 months and her eczema battle.
