I cannot believe that they put eggs into an infant toothepaste! My 13 month old daughter was tested for allergies 2 weeks ago, she is severely allergic to eggs. Since then, we have of course gone through all the food in the house to make sure that it doesn't contain eggs or egg derivatives, but I never dreamed that I had to check her toothepaste! Sure enough, I brushed her teeth last night, and within minutes her cheeks were red, blotchy, and she was starting to swell. Luckily it is a tiny amount and the Benadryl worked, I am still not comfortable with the Epi-Pen, she just seems too little. But in case there are other moms who might not think about toothepaste as an allergen, think again! I guess nothing is really safe for our kids.

THANK YOU!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! My DD has NINE allergies (including eggs) and sometimes you simply forget to check the obvious, such as hygiene and medicines.
