i have no idea what to do ive tried keeping mittens on his hands but he chews through the tips to get to his nails, he bites them so short they sometimes bleed.

My daughter does this also and chews and pulls out her hair. Im not sure what to do about it. Ive tried getting her help for it, but untill she can talk better they can not ask her why she is doing it and try to help her stop.
