Sounds like my ten year old! Still to this day, her spaghetti is without sauce, sandwiches are a big no no even. What kids doesn't like a sandwich? She eats 0 fruits and the occasional green bean. I have made her sit at the table until she eats something new, but she usually wins because when she tries, she will gag and throw it up. I know it's frustrating. I just fix what she will eat and as she gets older, hopefully she will mature and decide to give good food a chance.

Pacholes is a dish from Mexico that my nephew and niece LOVE-

Grounf Beef
One smash potato
two smash carrots
catchup
one egg
bread crumbs
MIX every ingredient- make thing patties - bread them and fry them both sides.
Degrease on paper towels-
Kid love them with catchup-
grown ups love them with pico de gallo-salsa on a corn tortilla-

Your daughter will love Pacholes- dish from Puebla, Mexico

I make veggie fried rice with brown rice or use cauliflower instead. My daughter loves cauliflower that way. There is a way to nuke it, but I make cauliflower flowers, blanche for about 3 minutes, grate it. saute onion, scallion, carrots, peas in sesame oil, add cauliflower and soy sauce.

My son was a picky eater for a while. For us it was a phase and I hope soon you can say the same. With my son I would take his favorite food for a while it was mac and cheese. I would tell him you can have your favorite if you eat some of my favorite chicken hamburger or whatever the protein for that night was. For trying new food, I'm sorry to say we would usually bribe him. I would make his favorite dessert and tell him if he ate half each of the new foods he could have dessert regardless of whether or not he finished his meal. It usually worked. A couple ideas, anything creamy she likes, puree up vegetables that are similar in color so she doesn't notice them and mix them in. I did that all the time and as long as I didn't go overboard my son never noticed. My son loved waffles and french toast for breakfast. I started using a little jelly for the topping and gradually transitioned to just using fruit. Hope that helps.

Sometime I try toast with nutella - most kids like chocolate or special K almond vanilla cereal. I make banana muffins - my 5 year old loves them. my girls love pancakes and crepes.

How about grilled cheese sandwich? I add babyfood yarm or sweet potato squash to kraft dinner for added nutrition and she doesn't notice.

what about uncle bens wild rice with herbs and i mince roast chicken really fine into it for protine. They also love quinoa cooked in chickem stovk - very good for you!
