My mother started making this casserole around 1940. It was on the table for many family dinners.
Brown 1 1/2 lb. ground beef in large skillet. Add 1 chopped onion & 1 chopped green bell pepper. Add 2 Tbl. Chili Powder, Salt and Pepper to taste. Simmer 10-15 minutes.
Add: 1 can Cream Corn, 1 can Tomato Soup (not diluted) and 1 can Tomato Sauce. Simmer with lid on. Meanwhile, boil one package of wide egg noodles, until just done. Drain. Toss noodles with skillet ingredients. Pour into large greased casserole dish. Top with shredded cheese. Bake in 375 degree oven until cheese is completely melted.

I prepare casseroles almost daily. What do you like?
I have found the easy ones are good.
1 lb. Ground beef ( can use ground turkey)
1 box of mac and cheese any kind
1 can of cream of mushroom soup
brown meat, and prepare the mac and cheese by the directions.
When you mix the milk, butter, and powdered cheese also add 2 slices of american cheese. Increase the milk to 1/2 cup and add the soup. Stir well and add the meat and the maraconi. Bake for 30 min. at 350, ( I mircrowave it for 10 min.)
Serve it with a salad and some fruit for a meal. It's also good reheated as a leftover lunch.

Fabulous, Skinny Tamale Pie! This is one of my very favorite Mexican-style casseroles. Cinco de Mayo is coming up and this would be perfect to make. Each delicious serving has 389 calories and 8.6 grams of fat plus 5 grams of fiber.

Easy Bake Pasta-Boil a box of noodles, whatever shape you want. I normally use elbow, but use shells sometimes. they hold the sauce the easiest. Drain, rinse, put back into the pot. Add whatever kind of sketti(sorry, idk how to spell the actual word lol) sauce you like, and mix. Pour into a baking pan large enough to hold all of what you made, you shouldn't have to use anything to coat the pan, but if food tends to stick, olive oil cooking spray is what i normally use. Add some mozzerella cheese, or whichever you prefer, then sprinkle some parmesean on top. Cover with foil, toss it in the oven for about 15 minutes at 425. You want the cheese to be tan, unless you like it darker or lighter. Everything is already cooked, you're just heating it up more or less, and melting the cheese.
Sometimes I'll add extra mozz, and mix it around. All the cheese is on the top, and I prefer it all over. Oh hey, I think I'm going to try to put some cheese in the middle. Pour some pasta in, add cheese, then pour the rest, then add more cheese.....Make sure you have some anti-constipation meds handy.....if you have 2 layers of cheese, every one might be in a little pain for a cpl days lol

Baked Potato Casserole
Wash and prick potatoes with a fork
Place on microwave safe plate and cover with a wet paper towel
Microwave as directed until tender
Remove from plate and chunk potatoes into a casserole dish
Add salt and pepper to taste, chunk of butter/margarine, crumbled real bacon, and shredded cheddar cheese
Place back in microwave until cheese has melted
Spoon onto individual plates and add sour cream, chives and other toppings as desired

3-4 pork chops/ steak / chicken (your choice)
2 cups rice
1 cup mixed vegetables
garlic (fresh or powdered)
grated cheese (parm and mozzarella work great)
cook rice according to directions
saute meat with garlic until done, add 1 tbsp beef bouillon, 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce, 1 tsp soy sauce to meat.Let cook for 5 minutes.
Add rice to meat mixture, mix well
Mix in vegetables, mix well. Place in casserole dish, top with grated cheese.
Cook in oven for 15-20 minutes at 250-275

1 lb ground beef
2-3 slices bacon
1 box mac and cheese
1 cup broccoli florets (can also use mixed veggies, etc)
1/2 cup grated cheese
garlic to taste.
cook and prepare mac and cheese, brown meat, cut bacon into small bite size pieces and cook until almost done.
Mix noodles, powdered cheese, garlic, ground beef, bacon and broccoli (or veggies) and put in casserole dish. Sprinkle on top with grated cheese. Put in oven at 250 for 10-15 minutes.

Here is a recipe that all the kids I have made it for love.
1 Large can of Mini Ravioli
1 Large can of Spagetti-o's
1 Cup shredded Mozzerella cheese
Mix Ravioli and Spagetti-o's in a glass pan
top with shredded cheese bake in oven for 15. min at 350
Or my other recipe come from my great grandma
1 large can cream of mushroom soup
1 Bag of frozzen California blend veggies
8oz of Velveeta cheese.
in a glass pan combine and mix veggies and soup. bake in oven at 350 till veggies are done. then melt cheese in microwave and pour over veggies and soup. continue baking for 10 min. (You may add chicken cut into small pieces or can be used as a side dish)

My girls (ages 4 and 7) love when I make a chicken and rice casserole.
2 boneless skinless chicken breasts
1 package frozen broccoli,
1 family size can of Cram of mushroom soup
1 cup shredded cheese (we like the colby jack)
3 cups minute rice.
wash the chicken then ct it into strips about 1/2" thick and then season lightly with salt and pepper.
In your casserole dish, mix together the soup, rice and 1 can of either milk or water, your choice (milk makes it creamier)
On top of the rice mix, lay out the broccoli, then on top of tat the chicken and then topped off with the shredded cheese.
bake at 375 for 45-60 minutes. make sure the chicken is fully cooked before serving and there ya go.
You can also use pork chops if you wish, also cut into strips, and add any other veggies you wish as well. one time we did it with a bag of frozen broccoli carrots and cauliflower. it was a hit.

Tator Tot Casserole
1 pound hamburger
2 cans cream of mushroom or cream of celery...or one of each
can of corn- drained
can of mushrooms- drained
can of green beans- drained.
Cook meat. drain.
stir together meat, soups and veggies. pour in a 9 x 13 pan. Layer tator tops, bake 350 or whatever the tots say, for like 15 min or so, till the tots are hot.
sprinkle with shredded cheddar cheese, put back in oven for couple min.
super yummy and it has veggies in it!

Here is something super easy my Sister in Law provided us with when we had our baby girl. 1lb Ground Beef, 1 16oz tub of Sour Cream, About 2 cups of Shredded Monterey Jack/Cheddar Cheese. About half a bag of frozen tator tots. If you wanted you could add a veggie to the mix but the more creamy it is when mixed together the better. So, if you add veggies, add more cheese and sour cream for the right smooth consistency.
Brown Meat, Drain and Season to your liking.
In a 2qt Cassarole dish mix Ground beef, Sour Cream, and cheese together.
Spread and then cover with frozen tator tots.
Cook cassarole with the directions from the tator tot bag.
Usually 18-20minutes for everything to warm up and bubble.
We serve this with steamer veggies from the frozen isle and rolls.
Quick, easy, filling and simple if you have other little one's. My neice who is 9 is very picky and likes this one.
slow cooker beef satay
(i put this on mid morning and add the veg mid afternoon)
gravy beef cubed ( i do about 300gm for 5 ppl but do whatever suits your family)
1 can coconut cream
cumin, curry, corriander, salt and pepper to taste
3ish big table spoons peanut butter
squirt or say sauce
after a few hours add potatoes (3ish cm cubed)
carrots, and whatever else, green beans, mushrooms...
i serve it on rice - but you could do more taties if you can be bothered peeling them
its so easy and scrummy!
(also freezes well for work lunches)

Tater tot casserole
1lb. of ground hamburger
3 cups of shreded cheddar cheese
1 can of cream of mushroom soup
1 bag of tater tots
Brown hamburger and onion. When browned add cream of mushroom soup and 1 cup of cheese. Place in a casserole dish, sprinkle with cheese and add tater tots. Bake at 350 degrees for about 30 to 40 minutes or until tater tots are crispy.

I just came across a homemade "Pepper-Jack Broccoli Macaroni" Casserole that is absolutely delicious.
2 Cups elbow macaroni
2 Cups Chopped Broccoli
2 Cups Cheddar Cheese
2 Cups Pepper-Jack Cheese
1/2 Cup Grated Parmesan divided
1 10.5 oz can of Carnation Evaporated Milk
Pepper to taste
Preheat Oven to 350F
Cook the macaroni (as directed on the box), and broccoli together. Drain
Add the all the cheddar, pepper-jack, and 1/4 cup parmesan, pepper, and carnation evaporated milk and mix well.
Place in a buttered 3qt casserole dish ( I used a 2.5 because I don't have a 3)
Put remaining parmesan on top, and bread crumbs if you so desire.
Cover with foil, bake for 20 minutes
Uncover and bake for another 10 minutes.
It is soooo easy to make, and delicious! You can actually find it on the back of the carnation can. I like to add Louisiana hot links to add more flavor. You can add any kind of meat you want, if you want.

Mexican Chicken Casserole
1 lb. chicken breast, cooked and cubed
1 can cream of chicken soup
1 can cream of celery soup
1 bag Taco Doritos
Mexican blend shreded cheeses
1 can Rotel tomatoes
1/4 cup sour cream
Cook and cube your chicken until no longer pink. Mix with the soups, tomatoes, and sour cream in a 9x13 casserole dish. Top with crushed Doritos and then cheese. Bake at 350 until cheese is melted. Spicy, yummy dish :)

1 can of tuna
1 can of either cream of mushroom soup or cream of celery soup
1/2 small can of Durkee fried onions
spices to taste: garlic, dill weed, pepper and a little salt
Cook noodles (the amount for the size of your family)
Mix together all of the ingredients
Bake for 30 min. at 350, ( micro for 10 min.)
You can add cheese at the end of the cooking for a creamy topping.
Serve with veggie and fruit for a meal.
