2 packages crescent rolls

2 large apples, peeled and cored

1 cup margarine

1 1/2 cups white sugar

1 tsp. cinnamon

1 can Diet Mountain Dew

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Spray 9x13 inch baking dish with nonstick cooking spray. Cut each apple into 8 wedges and set aside. Separate the crescent roll dough into triangles. Roll each apple wedge in dough starting at the smallest end. Pinch to seal and place in baking dish.

Melt margarine in microwave, stir in sugar and cinnamon. Pour over the dumplings. Bake for 35 to 45 minutes. Top with vanilla ice cream and serve. Enjoy!

You are supposed to pour the Diet Mountain Dew over the dumplings too! I was suffering from a terrible case of TMJ the day I posted this recipe. I am so glad you enjoyed it!
