Baked Chicken

This is a really simple recipe and one you don't have to watch much...

Take a whole chicken and bathe it with juice of one lemon. Take salt, garlic powder and "Mrs. Dash" (you can buy at store) rub generous amounts on both sides of chicken. Set oven for 350. I usually like to leave it 1/2 hr on one side, then flip it and leave it for another 1/2 hour. Once that is done, I cut it (scissors on chest area) and let cook for another 10-15 min.

hmmmm...here are the ingredients in this product: onion, black pepper, parsley, celery seed, basil, bay, marjoram, oregano, savory thyme, cayenne pepper, coriander, cumin, mustard, rosemary, garlic, carrot, orange peel, tomato, lemon juice powder, citric acid, oil of lemon....wow- never actually read all these before...but I think that if you play around with products that you may have with some sort of blend like this, you should be good to go!

i live in australia....we dont have "mrs.dash" can you tell me what that is??

is there a substitute?
