I found this recipe at Walmart and I decided to try it. It came out great and it was so quick and EASY! There is plenty of room for adding your own ingredients to enhance the receipe. Experiment!
Prep time - 15 minutes Cook time - 45 minutes Servies - 8
Ingredients
1lb ground beef
1 small onion chopped
1 10oz can enchilada sauce
1 15oz can of tomato sauce
1 cup sour cream
2 4oz cans chopped green chiles
12 6inch corn tortillas
1 8oz package shredded mexican cheese blend
Directions
1. Preheat oven to 350F. In large skillet cook ground beed until brown and drain.
2. In large bowl, stir together oninon, enchilada sauce, tomato sauce, sour cream and chiles; mix well. Season to taste with salt or pepper.
3. Layer half the beef, tortillas, sauce mixture and cheese in lightly greased 3 quart rectangular baking dish. Repeat layers except for cheese. Bake, uncovered 40 mins; sprinkle remaining cheese over top and bake 5 mins more. Cut into squares to serve.
