Can u make a low calorie cookie?

1/2 c. Sugar
1/4 c. Brown Sugar
1/4 c. Margarine
1 Tsp Vanilla
1 Egg White
1 c. Flour
1/2 tsp Baking Soda
1/4 tsp Salt
1/2 c. Mini Chocolate chips
Mix ingedients in order and drop by the teaspoonfulls 2 in. apart. Bake at 375 for approx. 8-10 min.
Can also be baked in a pan for bar cookies
60 calories per cookie
You can also try substituting Splenda for the sugars. Brown splenda is available, but it might be difficult to find in some areas.

If you make the chocolate chip from scratch, try subbing whole wheat flour for the white flour. A healthier cookie I LOVE is Almond Butter cookies:
1 cup of Almond Butter (found in all natural section of grocery store)
1 cup of sugar
Mix it all together and roll golf ball sizes and place on cookies sheet evenly spread out. Take a fork and press down ball with tines in both directions, creating a criss-cross pattern. Bake in a 350 degree oven for 8-10min. They will still be soft when you pull them out but lightly browned. Transfer to cooling rack when firmed up. Let cool completely. You can do this same recipe as Peanut Butter cookies by just subbing the Almond Butter with All Natural PB. You could also add a few tbsp of Wheat Germ to these as well to add a boost of Vit E and Folic acid.
