put desired amount of green split peas to boil with salt (taste water make sure u have enough salt). add a small piece of red pepper & onion. you may add a chunk of ham or pork meat for better flavor. boil until peas start to disolve, then add potato & sliced chorizo. let cook for about 15 more minutes & serve ontop of rice & enjoy!
i serve this ontop of white rice & usualy with some baked chiken (with crispy skin, its the best!), or just steak with sliced onions.
