I know this sounds gross, but trust me my family loves this!
1/2-1 pound brussel sprouts washed and Trimmed
2 TB butter
1/2 TB pepper
1/2 TB salt
1/2 cup grated parmesan cheese ( stuff in the container is just fine)
1 cup italian shredded cheese
1 half pint of heavy cream
Trim sprouts ( if they are small I leave them whole) cut in half and place into baking dish. Salt and pepper the sprouts. Place butter in pats around the sprouts, add Parmesan cheese and heavy cream. Sprinkle italian cheese over top. Cover and bake in the oven until you can smell the sprouts. Uncover and let the cheese brown a little and the sauce to thicken about 5 mins. Remove from oven.
Note: I will also do this with cauliflower and broccoli as well.
