Does anybody have simple but good crock pot meals?? I love using my crock pot, and want to try some new recipes!

The best thing i ever did was get the book "Fix it and Forget it". It has very easy receipes. I work all day and to come home to a meal that is already done is great. I prepare it at night and turn on in the morning. I have even give this book to friends. You can buy it on amazon or ebay. Hope this helps you.

ok I got one.



 



Shredded beef





1-4 pund Chuck Roast



1 Large Onion



1 cup Ketchup



1/4 c. Lemon Juice



3 Tablespoons Worchestire



2 Tablespoon Vinegar



2 Tablespoons Brown Sugar



1/4 tsp. pepper



1/2 tsp. liquid smoke



Buns or Hoagies





Cut roast in half. Place in slow cooker, Top with onions (Thinley sliced)



Combine all ingredients (not Buns) in a bowl mix well. Pour over roast.Cover and cook for 8-9 hours. Remove roast, shred with fork place back in crock pot. stir well. Use slotted spoon and on bun enjoy!!!

Hey there,

I do a lot of cooking with mine. You can take frozen chicken 4 pieces, rice, 1 cup whatever veggie chopped up (frozen veggies go soggy), 1tbls.or less dry chicken stock, 1 tsp. poultry sesoning, 1 tsp. paprika,and 6 cups of water. Cook on low for 5 hours. I also Take out frozen chicken and add my spices of choice and a little olive oil or salad dressing on top of frozen chicken and cook for about 5 hrs. on High. Pot roast also is scrumptous cooked in a slow cooker. Brown in a little oil chopped up onions and add roast and quickly brown all sides in a dutch oven ( big round pot) after just through into crock pot and cook on low for 6 hrs or so. Hope this helps.
