Put frozen roast in crockpot. Add 1 can cream of mushroom soup, 1 can of coke, and 1 envelope of Lipton Onion Soup mix. Cook on low all day. Enjoy.

Annmarie, The coke works as a ternderizer. I use if for grilling, as did my father and his. It works well as you can tell.

I do a variation of this recipe...I use the golden mushroom soup and leave out the cola and I also add potatos and carrots. It is delicious.

Honestly I have no idea what it does - but I don't think it would be good without it. When I got the recipe, I actually thought it didn't sound very good - go figure.

I never have but don't know why you couldn't. I usually use a 2-3 lb roast. The first time I made it, my husband said it tasted like his grandma used to make when he was a kid. Ha

Do you add any veggies to it? It sounds absolutely delicious. How big is the frozen roast?
