I have a slight variation to the chicken casserole above... instead of using only the cream of mushroom/celery add in sour cream... mix the soup and sour cream together then mix in the shredded chicken pour into baking dish, then make the stuffing with ONLY the amount of water the box tells you (don't cook it to make just add the hot water and mix to soften the stuffing) place that on top of the chicken mixture and then we add shredded cheese on top (we are a huge cheese loving family hehe)
another easy idea is a breakfast casserole (you can eat whenever)
Ingredients: ( I guesstimate the amounts as I'm making)
ground sausage (1-2 lbs)
eggs (3-4?)
milk (enough to make like scrambled eggs)
cornbread stuffing (not turkey or chicken or w/e) (1-2 boxes)
cheese (in my family especially)(we use a lot)
brown sausage
mix together the eggs and milk
put sausage in the bottom of casserole dish
mix stuffing with required water (like in the chicken recipe)
spoon on top of the sausage
(if adding cheese put on top of stuffing)
pour egg mixture over whole thing to coat everything
Cook at 350 until the egg mixture is thoroughly cooked (looks similar to scrambled eggs or an omelet)
Hope these help!

I have a Speghetti Casserole Recipe tat I am sure you can switch up with Fettucinni! We tried it for the first time last night and it knocked our socks off! I promise this casserole is creamy and full of flavor. Ver filling too! But watch out! It makes a big big batch, you might want to freeze half! :)
3 pounds of ground beef
4 cups of fresh mushrooms
1 can of Bravo sauce (or any speghetti sauce you love)
1 can of tomato sauce (regular, unspiced)
1 cups of shredded cheese mix (provolone, mozza, jack and monterey)
1 cups of chedar cheese shredded
1 can of mushroom soup
1 cups of sour cream
Brown your ground beef in a skillet, add mushrooms an canned tomato sauce as well as your speghetti sauce! Let simmer for 20 minutes.
Cook your speghetti or fettucini as directed ( I would advisee about enough to wrap your thumb and index finger around! )
While speghetti is cooking, mis up your can of mushroom soup and your 1 cup of sour cream into a seperate bowl. Shred your cheeses or prepare your cheeses (if you have purchased them in pre-shredded bags it goes faster)
Once sauce is cooked, pour into a casserole dish, (you ma have enough to reserve in a freezer bag for your next batch)
Fill in with your choice of cooked Speghetti or fettucinni, make about a 2 inch layer. On top of pasta, spread your mixture of sour cream and mushroom soup. Make sure to spread evenly over pasta as pasta will harden once baked if it is not completly covered. After you've spread your sour cream mixture, cover the mixture with your cheeses. Bake in the oven for about 20 minutes or until cheese is melted and speghetti sauce starts to boil upwards!
I promise great results with this casserole and your kiddos will loooove this meal! Like I said it makes lots, so it's ver economical. I spent about 20 dollars on this and was able to make 4 family meals ot of the purchased ingredients :)

I have a recipe that boosts up the old tuna cassarole. Mix your 1 lg. can of cream of chicken and a small can of cream of celery (can use mushroom if you perfer) with your 2 cans of water in a large cassarole dish. Mix until creamy. Add the can of peas and tuna. Stir. Boil the 1 lb bag of extra large egg noodles for about 5 min. Add it in with the mix. Top with Kraft sliced cheese (I use about 20-22 slices). Then take a lg bag of Lays reg potato chips, open the top end a little and crush them up. Layer the top with the crushed chips. Bake in oven for about 50 min on 350 degrees. Keep an eye on the chips. If brown too quick, just lay a piece of aluminum foil over it. It is really really good and everyone makes me make it. Great with applesause as a side!!! Hope you like it as well.

Hey Crystal,
I have a simple recipe, for a casserole, I use my home made spaghetti sauce, but you can substitute it for the fettuccine sauce if you wish.
Just boil a pot of your favourite noodles on the stove (Strain and rinse when cooked to desidred tenderness). Layer noodles, pasta sauce, and slices of peperoni in an ovensafe casserole dish, until dish is full (Do not overfill). (If using tomato based sauce use peperoni, use chunks of chilcken in a fettuccine casserole). Top with your favourite kind of cheese and bake in the oven at 350oC.on the middle rack until the cheese is golden and bubbly. Do the same thing for ANY size casserole. Hope you like it!!! : )

CHICKEN AND RICE CASSEROLE......
you will need as many chicken pieces as you want.... they can be with bones, skins, without bones and skin. however you like them.
rice
2 cans of cream of chicken
1 can of cream of celery
1 melted stick of butter
oven at 350 degrees
mix the rice with the cream of chicken and celery and put in bottom of a baking pan. any size is fine and use as much rice as you want... if you aren't a big rice person, don't use as much cream of celery and chicken.
take your chicken and if it is boneless skinless, put either shake n bake or flour for a crust. if it has skin, just leave it as is.. place chicken on top of rice
take your melted butter and pour over chicken and rice. doesn't have to completely cover everything. if you want more butter, add more butter.
bake for 1 hour and 30-45 mins.

This is one that I can remember eating from my early childhood.
Sausage caserole.
tray of breakfast sausages, cooked
mashed potatoes
can of cream corn
cheese slices or grated cheddar
start with a layer of mashed potato in casserole dish, arrange sausages on top, pour can of cream corn over sausages, another layer of mashed potato, cover and bake 30 - 40 min. remove cover and add cheese on top and let bake another 5-10 or until cheese is melted. Serve with a salad. Enjoy.
My kids are so excited when they come home from school and they find out that it is caserole night. Definate comfort food, and soo delicious.
No fettuccini but it is a tasty meal.
