Hi Everyone,

My daughter is turning two next month and we are doing a fundraiser for her birthday party to raise money for a local fire department. I am having a hard time coming up with ideas for snack type food. I need something easy and if possible related to the fire hall. So far we are making chili, cinamon buns that were calling fire hoses, and minni hot dogs. Crockpot ideas would be best and easies but if anyone has any ideas please let me know :)

How about Buffalo Dip - maybe call it "Blazing Hot Buffalo Dip" or something like that (although it isn't crazy hot)



This is a light version since I do Weight Watchers. But I'm sure you could use full fat products if you prefer



2 (10 ounce) cans chicken

2 (8 ounce) packets neufatchel cream cheese

3/4 cup wing sauce (I use Frank's)

1 cup Kraft Light Done Right ranch dressing

2 cups 2% sharp cheddar cheese

2 loaves baguette



Drain canned chicken and put in medium sauce pan.



Add wing sauce and cook on medium until heated throughout. Add cream cheese and stir until blended thoroughly. Add ranch dressing and mix.



Add 1-1/2 cups of cheddar cheese and heat for a few minutes until mixed and melted.

Pour the dip into the crock pot and sprinkle the remaining cheddar cheese on the top. Keep heated on low or warm depending on how hot your slow cooker gets.



I serve on baguette that has been sliced and toasted. However, it is also tasty on corn chips. I usually serve celery too as an option for those like me who are looking to lose weight.
