Flan de leche cubano

One can of evaporated milk, one can of condense milk, 6 eggs, a pinch of vanilla,

Put everything together in the blender or a mixer, Mix at high to medium speed,

Meanwhile in a frying pan melt about a 1/2 a cup of sugar no water or any liquid.

When the sugar get a light to medium brown color, pour into a 9 inch ramaken and swirl around to cover all the walls of the mold.

Preheat you oven to 400 degrees. Once your caramel has set pour your mixture in it and place in the oven inside a container with water half way the sides of the mold.

Bake for 1 hour or until you introduce a tooth pick in the center and it comes out dry,

Once is cooked place in a cooling rack, once cool enough place in refrigerator until cold/

Bring out cover with a plate big enough to hold the flan and the caramel without making a mess and turn upside sown, jiggle the mold until the flan fall into the plater.

And there you are a Cuban Flan de Leche.
