HELP! I need a great Crock Pot recipe for my daughters school function.

Sloppy Joes! Put sloppy joe meat sauce in crock pot to keep warm. Take buns, pickles & slices of cheese & serve sloppy joes as the kids wants them with potatoe chips!! Any kids favorite!! quick & easy !!

taco soup is easy and cheap! heres the recipe 1can black beans 1can of kidey beans 1can pintos 1small onion(optional) 1envelpoe of taco mix and 1envelope of ranch dressing mix 2cans of rotell mild or medium and 1 large can of diced tomatos.1 lb of hamburger meat.

cook meat in large skillet with the onion and drain. then add to crockpot. addd other ingredients and simmer. serve with shredded cheese.sour cream and chips

a few packs of lil smokies a jar of grape jelly and equal amounts of mustard.
pack a ladle to spoon out and a box of toothpicks to eat with and you're set to go!
the jelly and mustard act as a BBQ sauce.

Can try cooking beef stew.

Very simple; just put everything together and let it cook for about 6 hours.



500 g beef cubes

2 carrots - cut into cubes

3 potatoes - cut into cubes

1 big onion - cut into eighths

2 cups of water

pepper and salt to taste



If the children don't mind a little spices, can add in black pepper. Alternatively tomato puree is good too. Can serve with bread. If not, put more potatoes as a dish on its own.

Taco Soup



1 big can of tomatoe juice

2 cans of kidney beans

2 cans of corn

pack of ground beef or ground turkey

2 packs taco seasoning

shredded chesse

frito lay corn chips



Prep: brown meat season with season salt and pepper(drain grease) add can of tomatoe juice add beans(drain) and corn(drain) add taco seasoning. cook until beans and corn is done.



Toppings: fix your soup in a bowl top with shredded cheese of your choice (I also use sour cream completely up to you) and frito chips...Its very good.

stuffed bell peppers. i like the green best. however many you want to make. brown hamburger, salt and pepper. drain. add a jar of spaghetti sauce. boil a few cups of rice and mix in with sauce. cut tops off peppers and take out seeds. put peppers in crock pot and fill to top with sauce and add tops back on. any sauce left over, just pour around so peppers kinda cook around it. super easy and yummy...

Chili is always a good bet! Pinto beans and beef, slow cooked with Southwestern seasonings.

Soak the beans in water overnight. Cover beans with water and bring to a boil; simmer until just tender. Brown salt pork in skillet; drain off fat in paper towels. In the crock pot, combine beans and cooking water, browned pork and remaining ingredients. Cover and cook 1 hour on high; reduce heat to low and cook 7 to 9 hours longer. Remove chile pepper pieces, if you prefer. Serves about 6!! Very tasty!!
* 1 pound dried pinto beans
* 6 cups water
* 1/2 pound salt pork, cut up
* 1 pound chuck steak, 1-inch cubed, or stew beef
* 1 dried hot red chile pepper, seeds removed, left in 1 or 2 pieces
* 1 medium onion, chopped
* 2 cloves garlic, minced
* 1 can (6 ounces) tomato paste
* 1 1/2 tablespoons chili powder
* 1 teaspoon cumin seeds
* 1/2 teaspoon marjoram

Italian Beef sandwiches
take one cheap beef roast (it doesn't need to be a good cut at all since it will be cooking for hours and fall apart by the time it's done)
pour one package of dry Italian dressing mix over the top of the roast
pour beef broth over the dressing mix and roast until covered
Put the lid on the crock pot and let cook all day.
Just before serving you may need to shred it some, but usually not much.
I serve it on hard crusty rolls so when the juices run they don't fall apart completely.

I have some receipes for you.



Make Ham, Green Beans and Potatoes in the Crock Pot.

Place your Potatoes, sliced or cubed however you like them in the bottom of the Crock Pot. Then Place you small Ham or Cottage Ham or Turkey Ham on the Potatoes.

Then Add 3 Cans of Greens beans with juice on them.

Add a little onion and Pepper to it and Cook All Day in the Crock Pot. Now my Crock Pot is 5 1/2 quarts so I can fit all of it very nicely in there.

I feed 4 people a nice meal.



Chicken Chillie

Take a Large can/jar of White Beans (don't drain)

Take about 2 large cans of Chicken (do drain)

Take 2 Cups of your favorite Salsa

Add Shredded Colby/Sharp Cheese to it

Cook on low all day but I have cooked this in about 4 hours on High and watching rather closely and stirring. It does get really think, but it is so good.

I serve this with Tortilla Chips, sour cream and salsa on the side.

If you want something pretty quick they can snack on I'd say you could make some queso. My mimi (grandma) has always made it with sausage and I think it gives it a really yummy taste.


Ingredients

* 1 lb sausage
* 32 ounces Velveeta cheese, cut into cubes
* 2 (28 ounce) cans Rotel tomatoes
* 1 bag of tortilla chips
Directions

1. Crumble sausage and brown in skillet. (you could always do this before you go to the school and just throw it in some tupperware)
2. Place Velveeta and Rotel into a crock pot and heat on high.
3. Once sausage is browned, add it to the crock pot.
4. Continue heating on high, stirring occasionally, until cheese has melted.
5. Turn heat down to low.
6. This recipe works as a sauce as well.
7. If you are having a large get-together, I recommend doubling the recipe.

This is a good one too because there's not much to it!

I would make lil smokies.. there easy and really tasty... you buy lil smokies, chili sauce and grape jelly and mix it all together and let it cook,, very tasty

2 pounds chicken tenders or boneless chicken breasts cut in strips

1 1/4 cups uncooked converted rice

1 package Knorr's Cream of Broccoli Soup Mix

1 1/2 cups chicken broth

pepper, to taste

Preparation:

Place rice in a lightly greased slow cooker/Crock Pot.

Sprinkle with parsley and pepper.

Top with chicken pieces.

Mix together the soup mix and broth.

Pour over chicken and rice.

Cover and cook on low for 6 to 8 hours.

Chicken Tortilla Soup?

bbq pork...roast a pork tenderloin, about an hour before you need to leave, shred it up and add bbq sauce. grab some buns, and there ya go...

red beans and rice...cook your beans in the crock, add about 1/2 a small bag of rice(about 1/2 way through coooking). slice up some beef smoked sausage, pan fry. Make sure and drain a lot of the water out of your beans and rice, add sausage. there ya go...



We are having the beans and rice tonight! lol
