heres a simple recipe idea using the new heinz veg stock cubes for babies

i made a vegetable soup was so simple and made plenty to freeze



just peel and chop 4 large potatoes in to cubes

peel and chop 2 carrots

chop 1 or 2 leeks it.s up to you



add 1tbsp of olive oil to medium sized pan heat then add all veg and cook for 5-6 mins till starting to turn brown then dissovle 2 of the stock cubes in 5 cups/2 pints of boiling water and add to pan bring to boil then reduce heat cover with lid and let simmer for 30-45 mins till soft and then blend to preferd texture

hope u enjoy my babies loves it and makes loads to freeze for a quick simple meal

Hi my baby is 7months now thanks for the reciepe tip ill use it however the stock cubes i used for his food are Heinz's ones specially made for babies u find them next to the baby food and jars in the supermarket and there are low salt for babies

Hello! How old is your baby? Jus wondering b/c baby's kidneys are unable to metabolize salt properly. Bouillon cubes are mostly salt. Here is a siple inexpensive veggie stock recioe. You can make a bunch of it and freeze if needed.



3 lg onion

3-5 carrots

3-5 celery stalks or 1 celery root

sprig of fresh thyme

handful of parsley stems included

1 TBL peppercorn



Bring to a boil for 30 sec turn down to a simmer for 1 hour

strain
