Hello, I am looking for some Very simple and EXTREMELY CHEAP( we only have a VERY small amount to spend on food a month) meal Ideas. I have a 3 yr old that is EXTREMELY picky, its insaine. No one in the house likes tomatoes and we do not eat alot of pork. I really need everyones ideas. Thank you so much!!!!!

Hello Mikayl,
Hamburger Mac and Cheese:
My son loves mac n cheese so much so we have it at least 3 times a week. I make a simple dinner with 2 boxes of mac n cheese, any brand is fine. Then fry you some hamburger meat in a fry pan with some onions if you like. When the mac n cheese is done make it like you normally would. Then add some mustard to the mac n cheese. Just enough to taste it then add the well cooked hamburger and vwala!
Butter Noodles:
Another fast dinner is Spaghetti noodles cooked like normal then when there done add some butter to them then a little salt and pepper and parmesan cheese. It’s good stuff!
Burger Beans:
Take you some bushes backed beans or grillin beans cook them as normal. Fry some hamburger meat with bell peppers and onions till cooked well. Then add the meat to the beans cook for 5 minutes and done.
Burger Beef Rice:
Take 2 boxes of Beef Flavored rice or rice a roni, cook as normal. Fry your hamburger with bell peppers and onion well. Then add the meat to the rice dinner and vwala.

Alternatively, you could try my casserole recipe:

Tuna casserole

You will need:
tin of tuna
1 whole head of cauliflower, cut small
pasta (gnocchi, spirals, macaroni work best)
1 whole courgette (zucchini), peeled and grated
2 cups any cheese grated
milk
small knob butter

Boil pasta according to directions. Steam cauliflower or boil. When soft, puree cauliflower and return to pot (on burner with heat turned off). Add butter and milk (small amounts at a time) until creamy but not watery. Mix in courgette (zucchini) and tuna. Drain pasta and add to casserole dish. Pour sauce over pasta, cover with cheese and bake at 200C until cheese bubbles (10 mins or so).

I know you said picky so I'm not sure what foods to avoid. For innexpensive foods the cheapest thing you can do is have some vegatarian meals like meatless chili & rice or meatless chili & whole grain buns, OR lentil soup with buns OR etc. Things made with beans are CHEAP! Also making spaghetti and soups, stews helps to extend a small amount of meat over several meals. I love the recipe site allrecipes.com or recipezaar.com becasue they have lots of recipes that are rated and have feedback from users who have tried them.

Avoid processed foods and spend the extra time it takes to make it homemade - you can save a ton that way.
