WORLDS MOST DANGEROUS CAKE !

5 MINUTE CHOCOLATE MUG CAKE

4 tablespoons flour
4 tablespoons sugar
2 tablespoons cocoa
1 egg
3 tablespoons milk
3 tablespoons oil
3 tablespoons chocolate chips (optional)
A small splash of vanilla extract
1 large coffee mug (MicroSafe)

Add dry ingredients to mug, and mix well. Add the egg and mix thoroughly.
Pour in the milk and oil and mix well..
Add the chocolate chips (if using) and vanilla extract, and mix again.
Put your mug in the microwave and cook for 3 minutes at 1000 watts.
The cake will rise over the top of the mug, but don't be alarmed!
Allow to cool a little, and tip out onto a plate if desired.
EAT ! (this can serve 2 if you want to feel slightly more virtuous).
And why is this the most dangerous cake recipe in the world?
Because now we are all only 5 minutes away from chocolate cake at any time of the day or night!

The easiest cookie recipe I know is for Peanut Butter cookies. 1 egg, 1 cup of peanut butter and 1 cup of sugar. bake in 350 degree oven for 8 - 10 minutes.

[deleted account]

The easiest cookies in the world, and so delicious! Cake Mix Cookies: Mix together 1 box of yellow cake mix, 1/3 cup oil, and 2 eggs. Then add 1 bag of dried cranberries and mix well. Drop on cookie sheet and sprinkle a mixture of cinnamon sugar on top of each one before baking. Bake at 350 for about 10 minutes. You can try different flavors of cake mix as well as different dried fruit, of course, but this is the one I like the best. Happy baking!

Chocolate Cheesecake Candy Cane Bars

Ingredients
Crust:

* 20 chocolate wafer cookies
* 3 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
* 1 tablespoon sugar
* 1/2 teaspoon ground coffee beans
* 1/4 teaspoon fine salt

Filling:

* 8 ounces semisweet chocolate, finely chopped
* 8 ounces cream cheese, room temperature
* 2/3 cup sugar
* 1/2 cup sour cream
* 2 large eggs, room temperature

Glaze:

* 4 ounces bittersweet chocolate, chopped
* 2 tablespoons unsalted butter
* 1 teaspoon light or dark corn syrup
* 2 tablespoons sour cream, room temperature
* 1/2 cup crushed candy canes (see Cooks Note)

Directions

Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Line an 8-inch square baking dish with foil.

For the crust: Process the chocolate wafers in a food processor with the butter, sugar, coffee, and salt until fine. Evenly press the crust into the prepared dish covering the bottom completely. Bake until the crust sets, about 15 minutes.

Meanwhile, make the filling: Put the chocolate in a medium microwave-safe bowl; heat at 75 percent power until softened, about 2 minutes. Stir, and continue to microwave until completely melted, up to 2 minutes more. (Alternatively put the chocolate in a heatproof bowl. Bring a saucepan filled with an inch or so of water to a very slow simmer; set the bowl over, but not touching, the water, and stir occasionally until melted and smooth.)

Blend the cream cheese, sugar, and sour cream together in the food processor until smooth. Scrape down the sides, as needed. Add the eggs and pulse until just incorporated. With the food processor running, pour the chocolate into the wet ingredients and mix until smooth.

Pour the filling evenly over the crust. Bake until filling puffs slightly around the edges, but is still a bit wobbly in the center, about 25 to 30 minutes. Cool on a rack.

For the Glaze: Put the chocolate, butter and corn syrup in microwave safe bowl. Heat glaze in the microwave at 75 percent power until melted, about 2 minutes. Stir the ingredients together until smooth; add the sour cream. Spread glaze evenly over the warm cake and scatter the crushed candy canes over top. Cool completely, then refrigerate overnight.

Cut into small bars or squares. Serve chilled or room temperature.

Store cookies covered in the refrigerator for up to 5 days

Jennifer, I have a no bake cookie recipe that my family loves. They have became a holiday tradition around our house and a large family favorite. These do call for Peanut Butter so if you or anyone in your family is allergic I apologize.

1/2 cup milk

2 cups white sugar

3 tablespoons unsweetened cocoa powder

3 tablespoons peanut butter

1/2 cup butter

3 cups rolled oats

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Wipe 1" wide band of butter around the rim of a 3 quart pan to prevent boil-over.

Combine milk, sugar, cocoa, butter and peanut butter.

Stir and bring to boil over medium heat. Let boil for 1 1/2 minutes, do not stir.

Remove from heat. Stir in oats and vanilla. Stir until oats evenly distributed.

Drop by teaspoon onto waxed paper. Cool. Makes 4 to 5 dozen.

Caution if the kids are around when you make these they go very fast. My family has a hard time waiting for these cookies to cool they like them so much.

Also we have made what we call hockey pucks. And the kids love to help with this one.

They are simply

Two ritz crackers put peanut butter on one and put the other cracker on top. melt choclate chips and dip the crackers to fully coat and place on wax paper to dry. you can also decorate these with sprinkles b4 the choclate dries if you would like to make them a bit festive.

Hope you enjoy

Here is one that is good and everyone loves it. One pan and one fork is all ya dirty. It is so, you can make your favorite cake and pie filling together. White cake/blueberry or Choc/cherry pie filling are 2 of our favorites. Only takes a couple mins to mix up.

Fast and Fun Cake

1 box cake mix.

1/3 c oil

1 egg

1 c water

1 can pie filling

powder sugar (opt.)

Preheat ove 350 F.

In a regular cake pan, put in the oil and swirl around to cover the bottom. Next put in the cake mix. I make a little pocket for the water and egg. I beat the egg and water together a bit before mixing in with the cake. Keep mixing till cake mix is moist. Spread evenly in pan. Spoon on pie filling then marble. Put in oven for about 40-45 mins. After about 30 mins I sprinkle some powder sugar over the top. It is good to serve warm with ice cream.

Another site I use to find new ideas is www.allrecipes.com. This site is set up so others can make comments about recipes.

lonna-i'm totally going to try that recipe. i love easy recipes with not alot of ingredients. what i do alot for cake and cookies-it's the same recipe. i can of fruit-any kind but if it's really chunky or fruit 1/2 buzz in blender. add to any cake mix, mix and bake. easy. i use a can of pumpkin and spice cake mix alot and you can even throw in a handful or 2 of choc. chips. also can of cherry pie filling with devils food. awesome. can make this cake in the microwave. a spoonful of pie filling in the bottom of microwave safe pan, mix cake mix and remaining pie filling together, pour in pan, microwave on hi 15-20 minutes, 1-2x depending on microwave then let sit and it will continue to cook. flip out on a plate and add shredded choc on top. and a little whip cream and it looks great.

also for shortbread cookies: 4 cup flour, 1 cup cold butter, 1 cup sugar. cut in butter to four and sugar, knead until smooth, pat into pan, pierce with fork, bake 325 degrees for 30 min or until brown.

i made half this recipe and the cookies didn't last that long!! cut them when they get out of the oven they will not cut that well when they cool.
