I've never cooked lamb before, Does anyone have a good lamb recipe they can share with me?

this one is my mums
6 lamb chops, 1 large 0nion sliced, 3 carrots diced, 4 large potatoes chunky diced, 1 packet french onion soup mix (dry)
place carrots, onion and potatoe in bottom of casserole dish coat lamb chops in plain flour with a little salt and pepper added and place over veg in dish mix onion soup with 2 cups of water and pour over lamb and veg and bake in moderate over for 40 mins also works well in slow coooker on low for around 8-10 hours
