Why no meats? Does the Dr simply mean because you never know what they put in it or because of what the animal ate? My family eats a lot of venison because we shoot and butcher it ourselves... it makes for a boring meal until you get used to it-my picky big kids (one hates potatoes) now love when they see me making venison w/ chopped onions, I add chopped potatoes, sometimes some green beans and a couple cans (or fresh) chopped tomatoes. It makes a nice stew. my baby isnt as sensitive as yours-so I am still able to buy just diary free/gluten free-but he is nursing so we will see if it gets worse when he is eating on his own. Best of luck-have you tried to make smoothies with the fruits and veggies-to give a dif taste? Juice some veggies and beans that provide protein and calcium as well. If your child is young-they won't know any difference if this is how they grow up eating...

My niece, now 27, is highly allergic to many of these same things. Please continue to read the labels of anything you get at the store. My niece drank some rice milk and ended up with welts the size of quarters all over. It was sweetened with corn syrup. Blessings and success to your little one and family.

Thanks Shieni,
Folks like you are my best cheerleaders.
I will keep on with my experimenting and am determined to come up with healthy fun foods, for kids with restricted diets.
Ideas are very welcome.
Watch out for new additions soon!

This is so challenging! Please look at my blog http://www.mangaladeshmukh.wordpress.com
All my recipes are wheat, egg, peanut, treenut and seafood free. You will definitely find something, and get new ideas. I also post new recipes every 10 days or so and will keep your requirement in mind. I add nutrition information in my BASICS section from time to time--perhaps that will also help.
Have a look and write your feedback. All the best!
