I am tired of the ENORMOUS amounts of fat and sodium in pre-made frozen burgers and am looking for your suggestions on a good homemade recipe that is good for the fam! Thanks in advance for your help :)

hey there joann,

i like to use something called (chubs) of ground turkey. our local grocery store in phoenix sold it and my grocery store here in austin does as well! it is so much healthier. you can buy it in 85/15 or 93/7.

i use 2 lbs (for my family of 6) and mix in either several dashes of worchester sauce or a1, depending on what i have on hand. if you are using a1, you might want to form your patties, and broil them, as the sauce is thick enough to stay put.

i usually sit in front of the broiler so i can't give you a specific time but you'll want to turn them over at least one or twice.

be sure if you are doing the a1 sauce on top version to brush is on when the burger is getting close to however done you are shooting for.

hope this helps.

you can either cut those open and
