I'm looking for healthy snacks to eat in the car and that are safe for a 20 month old. Right now we do gold fish crackers, cherrio's and sweet potato sticks. Does anyone have any good, healthy, safe snack ideas?

Anything they can throw....just kidding :). My 17 month old can handle string cheese, fruit slices or grapes cut in half, crackers...pretty much any finger food. But it does get messy.

My son really enjoys yogurt bites from gerber. There are granola bars and you can make "apple fries" too! Graham crackers are great too

I quarter and peel apples and mix with a little lemon juice. Celery sticks are also good.

My son is only 12 months, and I sometimes do whole wheat crackers, grapes cut into fourths, cheddar cheese cubes, just about any cut up fruit.
