My son is 15 months and is still really into his Jar food, he has 10mth+ jars or the 12mth+ hipp organic meals. I have tried him with our food but he doesn't want to know. I think he enjoys the jars because they have alot of sauce in them and he may just be being lazy. He will eat finger foods, sandwiches, salad, fruit & cheese etc. I really want to get rid of the Jars now. All advice would be really apreciated. Thanks

have you tried a bit of both.My daughter was the same.I had to start 1/4 ours and 3/4 jars mixed and then slowly reducing the jars.it worked.

Yes blending is the way to go :( Thats exactly what we did for our kids and as they got older we just didn't blend them too much as Heather says. We ourselves always have veges with our meals and never really cooked the kids anything different as this just made more work. He can have just what you eat as a family, only it will be pureed.

You may try blending table food in the blender

Try keeping a few jars, wash them out, and then use a blender to puree some of the food that you are eating for your meal. Then put it in the jar. After about a week, make the food a little less smooth, then gradually continue to make it less and less pureed, until it's not at all.
