I have a 14 month old daughter who will only eat adult food (she wants to feed herself) and will not eat anything green (when we feed her green food she pushes it off the plate and will go on a hunger strike until the offending green item has been removed- her doctor said to keep trying and eventually she'll grow out of it) But the issue is that I am running out of ideas to feed her, not to mention her father and I! I swear we eat the same 7 meals on rotation and I need something new.

What about changing them up a bit? Zucchini isn't typically a kid favorite, but my children LOVE zucchini crisps. They are coated & baked in the oven (this way they won't look too green either). Then, they dip them either in ketchup or ranch dressing. You can find this recipe, and many others, on my website www.faithfuldinners.com.

There is a book called the "Sneaky Chef Cookbook". She has a lot of ways to incorporate vege puree into many "normal" dishes. One uses a spinach puree in meatloaf. She would never know it is in there.

Hide it in pureed soups and many youngsters prefer their veggies raw. Try a veggie tray as part of the day's menu. Don't panic if she doesn't eat veggies every meal. It is okay if you average it over the day.

Well it may be alittle extra work but you could use some food coloring and change the color to something bright that she likes and make a game of it telling her to pick her favorite color and thats what your having for dinner,or whatever meal it happens to be.U sually when they get involved in the prep.they like to eat it much better. And,Its food coloring so it wont hurt her.
