This is my favorite go to recipe for dessert:
Chocolate Ecstasy Cake:
1 box chocolate cake mix
1 14-oz. can Eagle Brand sweetened condensed milk
1 12-oz jar caramel ice cream topping
1 tub whipped topping
4 Heath candy bars, crushed
Bake the cake as directed on the box. Cool completely. Once cool, using the straw, put holes all over the entire cake, make sure to go all the way to the bottom of the pan. Pour the can of condensed milk over the cake filling the holes. Repeat with jar of caramel topping. Spread whipped topping over top of cake. Sprinkle Heath Bars on top of whipped topping. Chill in refrigerator for 4+ hours.

BLOCK PARTY BEANS
2 pounds ground beef 2 cups onion (chopped) 1 cup celery (chopped) 1/2 cup ketchup
1 can (10 3/4 ounces) tomato soup (undiluted) 1 can (6 ounces) tomato paste
1 can (16 ounces) green beans (drained) 1 can (15 1/2 ounces) wax beans (drained) 1 can (17 ounces) lima beans (drained) 1 can (15 to 16 ounces) chili beans (undrained)
1 can (16 ounces) pork & beans (undrained) 1/2 cup brown sugar (packed)
2 tablespoons prepared mustard
In large Dutch oven, brown beef over medium heat. Drain fat off. Add onion & celery; cook until tender. Stir in soup, tomato paste & ketchup; simmer 15 to 20 minutes. Spoon
into large kettle or roaster pan. Add all remaining ingredient; stir well. Bake uncovered at 350 degrees for 1 hour. Serve 25. There no words to tell how good this is. It good hot or
cold. Good for a big party.
And his Brisket, it gose fast. You can use 7 up & not the beer, for this recipe.
1 brisket 1 large onion (chopped) garlic salt (sprinkle) black pepper (sprinkle)
1 can beer meat tenderizer (sprinkle) Use heavy foil
Put foil on bottom of cookie sheet. Put 1/2 chopped onion on top of foil. Take a sharp
knife trim some fat off meat (you need to leave some fat on) & punch holes in all the sides of brisket. Lay brisket fat side up on the onions. Add the other 1/2 onions on top of brisket. Sprinkled tenderizer, garlic salt, pepper (on both sides) & beer over brisket. Add foil on top & seal good. Bake at 450 degrees for 3 1/2 hours. Turn down to 250 degrees for 2 hours. Slice across the grain. Eat and enjoy. RC Brisket are so good. And my brother Duaine think they are good too. (Some time he will add 1 more onion in for me.)

we do a nice taco salad...with many compliments,and if you don't tell,the secret is the cabbage,holds crisp longer and not really a difference if you don't know..
1 bag shredded cabbage(cole slaw mix)works well
1 pound hamberger cooked with taco seasoning
1 can kidney beans,drained,rinsed
chopped tomatoes(can use drained 15oz can)
shredded cheese 2 cups
green goddess salad dressing or creamy cucumber
then I use a huge bag of scoop corn chips for crunch or dipping(my sister also adds some chopped black olives or green) it stands up well to weather and outside,was a hit at my neices grad party,so my sister stole from me for potluck at her job and then block party too...she's just criminal,hahaha

Desserts can be sheet cakes, cheese cakes, trifles, fruit platters, cookies and squares. They can be cut into portions, and placed whole (cake) allowing everyone to help themselves. Squares or 'non messy' desserts can be cut and placed into muffin paper cups (slightly folded), then these 'little boats' can be arranged on fancy trays (I'd hesitate to do this for more than 50). I would also use cakes etc. that will not take
up additional refrigeration space, although pre frozen goodies would work well.
The larger the crowd, the simpler things should be kept, as you will find it
a 'challenge' dealing with massive amounts of food

Oreo Cookie Salad
2 small pkgs French Vanilla pudding
2 small cans Mandarine Oranges
12 oz Cool Whip
2 cups buttermilk
Pkg Oreo Cookies (use about 2/3 of the pkg or more to your taste)
Mix pudding and buttermilk. Fold in Cool Whip and oranges. Break up Oreos and mix in. Chill.

Apple Berry Salsa With Cinnamon Chips
4 (7-inch) flour tortillas
1 tablespoon granulated sugar
1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
2 medium Granny Smith apples
1 cup strawberries, sliced
1 kiwi, peeled and chopped
1 small orange
2 tablespoons packed brown sugar
2 tablespoons apple jelly (optional)
Preheat oven to 400F. For cinnamon chips, lightly spray tortillas with water using Kitchen Spritzer. Combine sugar and cinnamon in Four/Sugar Shaker; sprinkle over tortillas. Using Pizza Cutter, cut each tortilla into 8 wedges; place in single layer on 15" Round Baking Stone. Bake 8-10 minutes or until lightly browned and crisp. Remove to Nonstick Cooling Rack; cool completely.
For salsa, peel, core, and slice apples using Apple Peeler/Slicer/Corer. Cut apples into quarters; chop with Food Chopper. Slice strawberries with Egg Slicer Plus. Chop kiwi with Food Chopper. Place fruit in 1-Qt Batter Bowl. Zest orange using Lemon Zester/Scorer. Juice orange with Lemon Aid. Add orange zest, orange juice, brown sugar, and apple jelly to fruit mixture; mix gently using Super Scraper. Serve with cinnamon chips.

ok this is always a hit when I take it to pot lucks it was my mommy's recipe and she use to take it to all the pot lucks when we were kids it sounds weird but it is good and not expensive...
10 ounces of vermicelli
2 stalks of celery chopped
1 bunch of green onions chopped
1 clove garlic minced
8 oz Italian dressing (you can use bottled if you don’t want to make your own)
½ cup sweet pickle juice
1 teaspoon of salt
1 tablespoon poppy seed
1 teaspoon celery seed
Cook pasta. Let cool. Mix it all together. Place in fridge overnight before serving for best taste

What You Need
1 can (20 oz.) DOLE Crushed Pineapple, in juice, undrained
1 pkg. (3.4 oz.) JELL-O Pistachio Flavor Instant Pudding
1 cup JET-PUFFED Miniature Marshmallows
1/2 cup chopped PLANTERS Pecans
1-1/2 cups thawed COOL WHIP Whipped Topping
MIX first 4 ingredients in large bowl until well blended.
STIR in COOL WHIP.
REFRIGERATE 1 hour

Orzo with roasted vegetables -- courtesy of the Barefoot Contessa. This dish is fresh, delicious and has been a BIG hit at the three parties I taken it to/served it at.
• 1 eggplant, peeled and 3/4-inch diced
• 1 red bell pepper, 1-inch diced
• 1 yellow bell pepper, 1-inch diced
• 1 large red onion, peeled and 1-inch diced
• 2 garlic cloves, minced
• 1/3 cup good olive oil
• 1 1/2 teaspoons kosher salt
• 1/2 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
• 1 pound orzo pasta
For the dressing:
• 1/3 cup freshly squeezed lemon juice (2 lemons)
• 1/3 cup good olive oil
• 1 teaspoon kosher salt
• 1/2 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
• 4 scallions, minced (white and green parts)
• 1/4 cup pignolis (pine nuts), toasted
• 3/4 pound good feta, 1/2-inch diced (not crumbled)
• 15 fresh basil leaves, cut into julienne
Preheat the oven to 425 degrees F. Toss the eggplant, bell peppers, onion, and garlic with the olive oil, salt, and pepper on a large sheet pan. Roast for 40 minutes, until browned, turning once with a spatula.
Meanwhile, cook the orzo in boiling salted water for 7 to 9 minutes, until tender. Drain and transfer to a large serving bowl.
Add the roasted vegetables to the pasta, scraping all the liquid and seasonings from the roasting pan into the pasta bowl.
For the dressing, combine the lemon juice, olive oil, salt, and pepper and pour on the pasta and vegetables. Let cool to room temperature, then add the scallions, pignolis, feta, and basil. Check the seasonings, and serve at room temperature. Enjoy!

My mom used to make for us a tamale pie. Calls for 2 can's hormel tamales, 1/2 c chopped onions, 1 can whole kernal corn, 1 can small pitted black olives, corn chips for the top and 1 # ground beef. and chilli powder to taste 1. brown the ground beef and onions,then add the tamales mash them with the beef, add corn & olives mix all together and transfer to cassarole dish and top with crushed corn chips(frito lays are the best chips to use). GOOD LUCK AND ENJOY :).

chocolate eclair cake is super easy, cheap, no bake and tastes awesome!
1 box graham crackers
2 packages vanilla pudding
1 container/tub of chocolate frosting
bananas, if you like (I usually omit them, but my mom likes them)
baking pan (any size)
prepare pudding according to instructions on box
layer bottom of baking dish with a flat layer of graham crackers
pour an even layer of pudding over the grahams, spread with spatula (place bananas over pudding, if you wish)
top with another flat layer of grahams
keep layering the ingredients, just like making lasagna
when you're almost to the top of the baking pan, stop layering the pudding and grahams.
spoon frosting into a small sauce pan, warm over low heat til its smooth and liquidy
Pour over the top layer of grahams, put in the fridge for about an hour and taaa- daaaa!

If you want something easy why not cheesecake lollipops.
They do take a bit of standing time but very simple to make.
Philly cream cheese makes a per made cheese cake filler. take this and drop by the teaspoon (I use a cookie ice cream scoop to do this) on a sheet pan and stick in lollipop sticks in the middle of each spoon. Now place them in the freeze until frozen about 2 hours or so. once they are frozen Them melt some candy chocolate or mini chip in the microwave. and dip your cheese cake pops in it. You can them roll them in jimmies, nuts coconut or what have you. place back in freeze to set at least 20 minutes and serve. This is one of those simple but wow desserts at any party.
Another thing is making a truffle too.
1 pkg. (8 oz.) PHILADELPHIA Cream Cheese, softened
1 pkg. (1 lb. 2 oz.) OREO Cookies, finely crushed (about 4-1/4 cups), divided
2 pkg. (8 squares each) BAKER'S Semi-Sweet Chocolate, melted
MIX cream cheese and 3 cups cookie crumbs until well blended.
SHAPE into 48 (1-inch) balls. Dip in melted chocolate; place on waxed paper-covered baking sheet. Sprinkle with remaining cookie crumbs.
REFRIGERATE 1 hour or until firm.
Or a layered pudding is always good too
I like using white chocolate pudding, coconut pudding, nilla wafers, cool whip and something chocolate like Oreo or brownies.
get a long container does not need to be a trifle bowl
then staring with one pudding layer pudding, cookie,cream altering kinds of pudding. I found a great vase that looks like a hurricane glass not only does it look pretty but everyone seems to really enjoy them. In the summer too I have done a strawberry short cake this way too. Start with pound cake cut into cubes, J strawberry sliced (if you take some of the strawberries and stand them up on there too against the glass it looks really nice). then add in vanilla pudding top with cool whip then repeat layers ending with cool whip. On top to make it look even better you can sprinkle on shave choclate and take a whole strawberry and make slices 3/4 the way through and make a fan with it. Hope this helps
