PASTRAMI BURGERS

2 tsp coriander
2 tsp paprika
1-1/2 tsp ground ginger
½ tsp sugar
1/8 tsp cayenne pepper
1 tsp Salt
2 tsp pepper to taste
1 lb ground beef
8-12 slices of rye bread
Mustard & pickles

Combine coriander, paprika, ginger, sugar, ground red pepper, salt, and pepper in a bowl. Shape ground beef into 4-6 oval burgers. On waxed paper, pat spice mixture onto both sides of burgers. Place burgers in a hot frying pan; turning burgers over ONLY once. 8-10 minutes per side. Serve on rye bread topped with mustard & pickles.
