I found a honey mustard mix that was great on chicken, and I bet it would be great on pork chops too. I think it was McCormick, just a powder mix that is by all the taco seasonings and gravy mixes. Super easy to mix this up and pour on top of pork chops and throw them in the oven!

THANK YOU LADIES! Fab ideas! I can't wait to go buy some more pork chops and try all these recipes!

I ended up making my own concoction last night and it was a HIT! I will share with you all so you can add it to your recipe collection.

Brown Chops in a skillet (I used my electric frying pan)
Add 3/4 cup of white wine simmer for ~ 6 min
Remove Chops
Add 1/2 cup sour cream
1 Cup of milk
Chopped up Mushrooms (as many as I had)
Chopped up onion (for flavour)
Pepper, Seasoning Salt and Parsley to taste
Simmer, Return Chops to Skillet
Cook until sauce thickens or you are ready to eat.
Served with boiled baby spuds and frozen veggies
Sauce made a GREAT gravy!!

this is my favourite.....i got it off martha stewart......

6 x pork chops browned in skillet.

in a separate bowl mix the following.....

2 teas dijon mustard,

2 tbls red wine vinegar,

4 tbls brown sugar,

2 tbls worcestershire sauce,

2 teas garlic salt,

two thirds cup water.

pour over browned pork chops and simmer covered for 1 hour.

when cooked place pork chops onto serving platter and boil sauce for 5 mins or until thicker sauce consistency.

serves sauce spooned over pork chops.



also another recipe......i put a little oil and crushed fresh garlic into oven proof dish.rub pork chops into this mixture and bake in the tray until cooked and browned.moderate oven and i also put salt and pepper on them too.

Sorry, I know I missed your deadline but I have an easy and wonderful recipe that all of my kids will actually eat. You can prepare them in a crock pot or a frying pan but the longer they cook the more tender they will be. Try it and let me know what you think!

Here's the best part, the recipe is easily adjusted to fit any family size!

Pork chops

salt and pepper to taste

garlic (optional) I use minced and use about a teaspoon per 6 chops

1 can of cream of mushroom soup

1 can of mushroom gravy

I usually cook about 6 chops and the soup and gravy are enough but you can use as much as you like as long as they are in equal parts.

If in the crock pot throw uncooked chops in with all other ingredients and put on slow all day and they will be the most tender chops you've ever eaten.

If in a frying pan cook the chops til the pink is gone, add the other ingredients and simmer until you're ready to eat.

It's quick, easy, fairly cheap, and absolutely delicious! I hope you enjoy it sometime.

Try this:

4 lean pork chops

salt and pepper to taste

2 tablespoons lemon juice concentrate1 tablespoon brown sugar

2 tablespoons minced onions

drizzle of ketchup

preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Place pork chops in a single layer in a baking dish. Season with salt and pepper

sprinkle the rest of the ingredients over pork chops. Bake,uncovered,for 35 minutes.
