St. Paul's Rice recipe

Hi, this is a recipe from my mother-in-law who sadly passed away in Sept. (2008). She would make this one dish casserole and it is so good.

1 lb. pork sausage (Tennessee Pride is good) (using hot sausage is good too)

2 cups rice (white or brown)

1 package of Lipton Chicken Noodle Soup Dry Mix

Brown the sausage in a skillet till cooked through. Put sausage in casserole dish, add rice, dissolve soup mix in water and pour over rice and sausage. Then add water to the top of your casserole dish. Cook for 45 minutes on 375 degrees and then add toasted almonds on top and bake for about 10 minutes more. Total cooking time 1 hour.

Just add a green salad and you have full meal. Easy and good!
