1 C. Butter (NOT MARGARINE)
3/4 C. Light brown sugar
1/4 C. Granulated Sugar
2 eggs
1 tsp. Vanilla extract
1 pckg. Vanilla instant pudding
2 1/4 C. AP flour
1 tsp Baking Soda
1 pinch of salt
1 pckg of chocolate chips
1 C. Chopped nuts (optional)
Preheat oven to 375
Cream butter and sugars, then add vanilla extract and dry pudding mix. Combine thoroughly, then add the dry ingredients sifted together including flour, baking soda, and salt. Of course, then add the chips and nuts. Drop by heaping teaspoon full on dry baking sheet. Bake for 8-10 minutes. DO NOT OVERBAKE!
*I've also played with using different flavors of pudding mixes and chips. My favorite is White Choc. Macadamia Nut.
