don't you wish that pride would be enough. It is for my girls, hanging the report card on the fridge, calling grandma works for them. My boys on the hand need bribes, $20 for A's!! , but unfortunatly, they never get A's!

I have a box filled with various items from a trip to get ice cream coupon, to lipstick, to purchase a craft at the craft store. We even had they get to pick out what's for dinner that night. Or they get to pick what we watch on TV no matter if we want to watch it or not. I have also added other items such as pencils, stickers. So good luck.

what my step father did with some of my nieces and nephews that were struggling was to offer them some money for every A they got. depending on the child if can be anywhere from a quarter to $1. my one niece surprised him and got all A's one time and he ended up owing her like $15!! haha! joke was on him i guess. and i like all the ideas that shelley had too. my oldest is only 4 and doesn't go to school yet so idk what we'll do when she gets there. whatever you decide i wish you luck.

Lots of hugs and kisses?

We only have one in school. 1st grade. When we needed to give him incentive we offered a trip to the arcade or a movie at the theater. His choice when he reached the goal. Other ideas might be: one on one time with Mom or Dad, picking his/her favorite meal or special desert at dinner, extra computer or vgame time, an outing to the park or zoo. We do not reward report cards or good behavior.
