Do you get them involved in the cooking? That's what helped my kids start eating better. Even if it is something small like stirring the scrambled eggs or spraying butter on the broccoli (which they hated before), to something more complicated like the measuring of the ingredients, depending on their age. Kids are more willing to try it if they help make it.

I have two little ones sometimes they won't eat the pork when we bbq or on the stove but they both eat it when I slow cook them either the oven or the slowcooker. How about ground turkey, ground pork?

My step son was the pickiest eater EVER! We got to the point where we were sick of making 2 seperate meals every night. He was at one point so bad that he would cry until he vomited if we made him eat different foods. There are some foods that he likes, so we try to eat them more often, and add foods to them...for example, he likes cauliflower, so we'd introduce cauliflower with cheese sauce. He likes potatoes, so we'd make scalloped potatoes instead of mashed. He likes pizza, so we'd make pizza with leftover meat, like add lamb to it, or different cheese, like brie or feta. Lasagna was made with sausage meat instead of ground beef. We'd tell him afterwards what he'd eaten, so next time we never had problems with him eating the same foods again, for example..."I don't like lamb!" and we'd say that he ate it on his pizza and liked it, so it's the same meat now just without the pizza". He's also old enough to help in the kitchen, he's 11, so we enlist hiim to prepare veggies, or coat fish fillets with breadcrumbs. We also have him help make gravy, we find that he's more receptive to eating things if we have him help. Gravy is a life saver, he'll eat any meat as long as we make gravy for it. Hope this helps!

I have a very picky 8yr old but he loves fish stick tacos.
very simple just make tacos as always but use two fish sticks as the meat and then add your taco topings. He also likes lasanga becuase Garfeild eats it. The other thing we do is allow him to help in the prepartion. We give dinner a few nights a week a fun name that relates to something he enjoys, we had rollie pollie keish, with rollie pollie dropped peas, and a rollie pollie peanut butter cup for dessert. He doesnt eat everything and many things can be a battle but thesse extra tips make life a bit easier. Good luck

I've seen it mentioned that kids often don't like meats because of how difficult to chew they are... thus why they will eat things like hot dogs, chicken nuggets, etc but not "real" meat. So maybe try some things where the meat is very tender and easy to process?
