My twin girls Pedi told me not to give my girls eggs (particularly egg whites) until they were 1 year old. Now that they are 2yrs old neither of them are big egg fans. When they were 8 months old I would slice up bananas, cook carrots really soft, slice grapes in fours (and slice them in half when they where over a year). Other than that they pretty much stuck to the jar foods until they were a year old. I did try giving them mashed potatoes when they were 9 months on Thanksgiving and one of my girls immediately threw it back up and my other girl took them just fine. You kind of have to play around with foods to find out what he likes. Just be mindful of any choking hazards while you are trying things out with him.

Most babies who have allergies to eggs, it's because of the egg white. Allergies to egg yolk is much, much rarer.

You should ask your ped though. Is there a history of allergies in your family?

In my opinion wait untill he /she start talking. cook for your child white fish or chicken , vegies. heat little bit of oil add chopped onion, add littel garlic, little salt add patoes, pees, carrots, zoccuni, or any other kind of vegies fry for 2min and add water at the end and wait untill everything is cooked.when it's ready to eat cool it down 10-15mn and blend all of it and then serve ur child.I like the vegies to put at the end except the patoes and carrot because i think it goods when it is not over cooked.chicken soup with all the recipie i gave u is good. soup is healthy and good for everyone.hope that helps feel free if u want more recipies

Egg is not good!

You can boil an egg and feed your little bub the cooked egg yolk. A lot of people don't feed eggs to infants because of allergies.

My friend gives egg yolks to her 9 month old. She says the allergy issues are from the egg whites.

I would do some more research on the Internet on the topic though, and talk to your pediatrician.
