I usually make spanish rice. I don't buy the premade kind since I've figured out how to make a pretty good tasting one on my own with a few seasonins and some brown rice. I'll add black beans mixed with salsa on the side sometimes. Or some of the yummy mexican cornbread!

Chips and salsa is a good one, especially if you don't want to serve sides of beans if they are already in the taco's.

I usually make some Quinoa and Black beans, and some guacamole. Sometimes just a salad. Sometimes I get lazy and just throw every on top of a salad and just have a taco salad. :)

Because I add black beans to the meat and seasoning, I don't serve a side at all. Once they are all dressed up, you have everything you need!

We had tacos last night! I usually make refried beans (I use the FF kind and add salsa) and mexican/spanish rice. I use the Knorr Mexican rice and add canned tomatoes, corn (drained) and cheese. You could also add black beans if you don't want the refried kind. It's a big hit in our house!

we just eat tacos by themselves usually. for sides, it's usually just mexican rice and whole beans or fried beans. guacamole goes well with tacos, even inside the tacos.

Cut and crush avocado with a potato masher. Add lime juice from 1/2 lime. Add 1 tsp salt. Add garlic via garlic press. Add cilantro. Add onion and jalapenos to taste. Adjust seasonings by adding a little more salt to taste. Serve with tortilla chips

My husband wont touch beans, so that is out at our house. I make corn bread and a salad or heat up some green beans. Sometimes I'll make rice with jalepenos or hobeneros in it.

Traditional sides include Mexican beans, either refried (my mom always added oregano and topped the beans with Jack cheese) or pinto beans prepared as ranchero style, or borracho style, plus Mexican style rice (I prefer the rice with bits of corn and carrots in it). You don't really need a salad because the lettuce and tomato should be in the tacos. Ditto the meat and cheese for protein.
Something we also like to serve with tacos is a big fruit bowl. It would include watermelon, grapes, kiwi, pineapple, canteloupe, apple, strawberries, orange sections, or whatever fun fruit you see in the market.
