Ok, so I make meat loaf, hambergers, stuffed bell peppers already.

What else is there to make with ground beef? My mom keeps buying it and I don't know what else to make with ground beef... we are all tired of the meals above.

Any different recipes involving what to make with ground beef would be greatly appreciated by everyone in my family.

Hmm... What to do with ground beef? How about sheppards pie? Just fry the ground beef, drain the grease... while frying the ground beef make mashed potatoes... put the beef in a mixing bowl add green beans, peas, carrots, corn, wax beans (optional) mix together w/ gravy (about 2-3 cans) and put in a glass pryex baking dish. On top of the mixure spread the mashed potatoes all on the top and bake at 350 for about 40 mins or so

Shepards Pie, meatballs, stuffed meatloaf, eight layer casserole (has noodles, cheese, spinach ect.), mexicali casserole, hot subs with provo.cheese, bells peppers ect, Beef & pasta skillet with kalamata olives, pizza, any combination with cornbread and or salsa, wraps, soups.
type in a search engine "recipes with ground beef". I hope this helps. I've often used the INGREDIENT list combo on allrecipes.com to use what I have on hand. I also have an old casserole cook book from the 50's that has good ideas.

I have a great book that has 76 different ground beef recipes in it. One if my quick and favorite is Roasted Garlic Swedish Meatballs.
1.lb. ground beef
1/2 c plain dry bread crumbs
1 egg
1 jar RAGU cheesy roased garlic paresan sauce
1 1/4 c beef broth
2 tsp worcestershire sauce
1 tsp all spice

combine ground beef, bread crumbs and egg..shape into 20 meatballs..cook in nonstick skillet over medium-high heat. meanwhile, in medium bowl combine sauce beef broth, worcestershire sauce and all spice....if desired stir into skillet. bring to a boil over high heat. reduce heat to low and simmer uncovered, stir occasionally...10 minutes or until meatballs are done, and sauce thickens a litte. Serve over, if desired, over hot cooked noodles.

Besides sloppy joes which I make with just browned ground beef with salt, pepper and BBQ sauce, I also make spoonburgers. Brown your ground beef with salt and pepper to taste when done add a can of Campbells chicken gumbo soup simmer 10 minutes and eat on bread or buns like sloppy joes. It's a quick and easy supper that doesn't give me heartburn like sloppy joes.
Another good one is hamburger Stroganoff. Brown ground beef with salt and pepper. Stir in a couple of tablespoons of corn starch (or flour) into a can of beef broth or beef consume soup then pour over browned hamburger stirring until gravy thickens. Reduce heat and stir in a cup of sour cream stir thoroughly. Serve over hot buttered noodles or I throw my noodles in with the sauce instead of serving separately.
The last good recipe is Sheppard's Pie brown the ground beef with salt and pepper. Add a can of Campbells Cream of mushroom soup stir well. Steam a bag (1 lb) of mixed vegetables and add to the hamburger mixture. Spoon mixture into a glass baking dish and top with mashed potatoes. Bake about 30 minutes at 350* until potatoes are lightly browned and dish is hot and bubbly.
The first two recipes are quick and easy-done-in-30 minute meals. The sheppards pie I usually make the day before or over the weekend then refrigerate until you are ready to pop it in the oven. Bon appetite!!

I cook ground beef with some onions and tomatoes, salt and pepper and when it's done, I add some tomato sauce (or pasta sauce) to it. Then add some cheese, mix it with some pasta and if you're feeling especially ambitious, a light bechamel. I then mix everything together and bake it. My kids love it.

Taco Pasta
Brown and drain beef. Add Taco seasoning, 1-2 blocks cream cheese depending on your taste, two cans crushed tomatoes, a cup or so of sour cream or to taste, cilantro (I use one whole bunch). Mix with cooked pasta, top with cheese and a little sprinkle of cilantro and bake until cheese is melted and a little bubbly. Low carb pasta is really wonderful in this recipe.

Nouna- your recipe sounds really yummy....just to be clear, you don't cook the beef mixture before putting it into the dough right? and what is the 1/4 tsp mixed spices you use? and what is Laban yogurt? is that something you buy pre-made at the store or do you have a recipe for that as well? Sorry like 20 questions but I love to try new things and this sounds really good.

I make Shepherds Pie and my family devours it!! Brown the ground beef with diced onion. Drain. Add small can of tomato sauce, small can corn and small can of green beans (for 1 lb of grnd beef) and salt/pepper. Mix well and make it the bottom layer of a corning dish. Add a layer of shredded cheese, I use sharp cheddar but Im sure colby or mild cheddar would work too. Then top with mashed potatoes. Bake for about 45 mins @ 350°, or until you see it bubbly at the edges of the mashed potatoes. Let it cool about 10 mins and serve. Its really good and so easy to make. Serve with potato rolls if desired. Hope your family enjoys it.

I make all of the ideas below but I also make what we call Chow Mein. It is tasty and quick so if you are working you can whip this up with little problems.

500g beef
1 onion, diced
1 clove garlic
1 teas ginger
1 pkt dry chicken noodle soup
1-2 dsp curry
1/4 cabbage, I use wombok but any will do - sliced finely
some other veges cubed - carrots, corn, beans
1/2 cup peas
1 cups water

sauté onion, garlic, ginger in a pan with small amount of oil.

add beef and brown, drain fat if necessary

add curry and veges, stir for about a minute or 2

add water and stir to mix

add cabbage and cook with a lid on for about 20 mins, stirring occasionally, if the mix becomes too thick add more water

serve with rice, noodles, mashed potatoes, on toast, with bread, or on its own if you like, depending on how far you wish it to go.

this amount will serve 4 generous helpings when served with rice etc

hi m from lebanon try "lahmi baajin" its very delicious
Ingredients:
The pastry:
1 tbs. dried yeast (fast active)
1 tsp. sugar
1 cup warm water
1/2 tsp. salt
4 tbs. oil
3 cups flour
The filling:
350g ground beef
350g chopped onion
1/4 tsp. mixed spices
5 tomatoes chopped
1 red pepper chopped
1/4 cup pine nuts(optional)
2 tbs. oil
salt & pepper
Methods:
Combine the filling ingredients in a bowl and leave aside.
To make the dough: Mix the yeast and sugar, with the warm water. Sift flour and salt into bowl, make well in the centre, add oil and yeast mixture. Mix and knead to make a smooth and elastic dough. Cover and leave to rest for 30 minutes, or till it doubles in bulk. Knock dough down, divide into 15 or 20 small balls.
Once the dough is ready, roll out each ball into a circle, spread 1 tbs. of the meat mixture over it. Arrange on an oiled oven tray, and bake in a preheated oven for 10 – 15 minutes or until crust is brown. Serve warm with Laban (yogurt) or salad.

How about chilli? How about Mexican food like tacos, tostadas, or enchiladas with red sauce? (I prefer shredded beef or pork myself but ground beef could work too.) How about the thing where you put the meat mixture inside the bun dough and seal it up? Hatch green chiles and yellow onions make ground beef taste much better to me! Hope that helps.

When making burgers or meatballs for the kids, you might want something a bit more interesting for the adults. Try Kefta, an African dish made with ground beef or lamb with seasonings. It's typically cooked on skewers with the meat shaped like sausages but it could be cooked like burgers.

I had trouble finding a recipe similar to mine. This one is close. You can leave out everything but the pasta, sauce, hamburger, mozzarella and ricotta.

Here's a really good recipe relating to what to make with ground beef: Mexican Lasagna

Brown 1 1/2 lbs. ground beef and some chopped onion. Drain hambuger. Add 1 can Rotel tomatoes, 1 Can Ranch style beans, 1 can cream of chicken soup, 1 can cream of celery soup. Let simmer for about 20 minutes. Then take some flour tortillas and cut in quarters. Put a layer of tortillas in a 9x13 pyrex bowl, add above mixture, add shredded cheddar cheese, add another layer of flour tortillas, some more mixture, more cheese. Top layer put flour tortillas with shredded cheese on it. Bake at 350 until cheese melts and just starts to brown on top. Delicious!!!. Great for leftovers too.

My husband buys ground beef in bulk, so we cook a lot of beef dishes. These are some of the things to make with ground beef:

1)Tacos! I season the meat with cumin, chili powder, smoked paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, and a bit of cinnamon.

2)Italian dishes always work well with ground beef. I make my own meat sauce or meatballs quite often. Meatballs also work well in many other cuisines.

3) Shepherd's pie. Lots of mashed potatoes, veggies, and meat.. no lose meal!

4) Homemade sloppy joes
