White Velvet Cut outs

2c softened butter

1 8oz softened cream cheese

2c sugar

2 egg yolks

4 1/2 c flour

Mix butter and cream cheese until blended. Add sugar. Add egg yoks and blend. Gradually add flour. Chill 2 hours.

Bake at 350 for about 8 minutes. Remove from oven when set... not browning.

Let cool and add frosting of your choice.

Let me just start by saying these cookies are soooo good. BUT....I found that it's a really hard dough to work with. I had to add more flour then the 4 1/2 cups. They were easy to roll out and cut if the dough was super cold, but as it warmed up it got really sticky and very hard to work with. Also....I had to bake them more like 10-11 mins before they were set....even at that long they weren't browned.
