Finely chop cabbage and add to hamburger, along with enough water to coat the bottom of the skillet. Add salt and pepper to taste. Mix well and cover. Let simmer until cabbage is tender, stirring occasionally.
Pour contents into 9x13 glass baking dish.
Unroll crescent rolls and flatten on top of hamburger mixture.
Bake for 12 minutes or until crescent crust has turned golden brown
