• I use this recipe to spice up left over mashed potatoes. I usually make to many and my kids love mashed potatoes this way.

Ingredients

  • 1/4 block of Velveeta cheese
  • 1 can of cream of mushroom soup ( may use cream of celery or cream of chicken)
  • 1/2 cup of diced onion ( may use dried onion)
  • 1 cup of sour cream

Preparation

  1. salt and pepper to taste
  2. Mix together, You may bake this on the oven or if you are in a hurry, place it on the stove and heat it up until the cheese melts. If baked, place in oven at 350, for about 25 minutes, covered. If you would like to brown the top, take off the cover the last few minutes of baking. If you are wanting to make a meal of it, you may add diced ham, cooked sausage or cooked hamburger.
