Ingredients

  • 2 lb bag southern hash browns
  • 1 pt sour cream
  • 8 oz shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 can cream of chicken soup
  • 1 can cream of celery soup
  • 1 Medium onion
  • 1 stick butter
  • bag of Lays plain potato chips

Preparation

  1. pre-heat oven to 350*
  2. mix everything BUT the potatoes until well blended
  3. Gradually add the potatoes
  4. add seasonings to taste(salt, pepper, garlic powder, garlic salt, onion powder,ect.)
  5. stir until well blended
  6. pour evenly into 9"x13" (cake) pan (non stick or greased)
  7. bake uncovered for 1-2 hours, or until top is lightly browned
  8. add CRUMBLED potato chips to the top
  9. bake again for 15 more minutes
  10. let stand for 15-20 min or until cool enough to eat
  11. serve, and enjoy!!!
