  • 3/4 cup yellow corn meal
  • 3/4 cup self rising flour
  • 1 egg beaten
  • 2/3 cup milk
  • 10 Popsicle sticks
  • 10 hotdogs

Preparation

  1. In a large bowl, combine the cornmeal, flour and egg.
  2. Stir in milk to make a thick batter.
  3. Let stand 4 minutes.
  4. Insert sticks into hotdogs; dip in batter.
  5. Heat oil to 375.
  6. Fry corn dogs until golden brown, about 5-6 minutes.
  7. Drain on paper towel.
