Preparation

  1. I CLOVE GARLIC, MINCED
  2. HOT COOKED RICE
  3. IN A LARGE SKILLET, COOK BACON UNTIL CRISP. REMOVE BACON AND RESERVE DRIPPINGS. CRUMBLE BACON AND SET ASIDE. COOK CHICKEN AND ONIONS IN BACON DRIPPINGS UNTILL COOKED THROUGH. ADD SOUP, BASIL, PEPPER AND GARLIC. BRING TO A BOIL. COVER AND REDUCE HEAT. LET SIMMER 20-25 MINUTES, STIRRING OCCASIONALLY.
  4. TO SERVE, SPOON MIXTURE OVER HOT RICE AND TOP WITH CRUMBLED BACON.
